I am still enjoying the many responses I have received to "One Word".  Thank you for sharing how this has resonated with you and your chosen words. I am so inspired by each of you.

These words are individual and personal for all of us. Therefore, to the young man (who will remain anonymous), who has chosen the word "cheese" this year, more power to you.

It has been fun reflecting on 2010. Some of you may have rolled your eyes when you saw the questions in the previous blog but for me, it has been  great closure to 2010 to answer those questions.  And besides, any excuse to write always feels good to me.

"Wanna share?" "Wellll, yes I do."

What was your biggest triumph in 2010?

1-Publishing "Breathe" and therefore, becoming an author for the second time.

2-Keeping my sanity after the roughest six weeks in the history of being a mother to Kyle. AND then quickly and successfully (in less than 12 hours) transitioning to host  my wonderful French houseguests and then immersing myself in the 100% joy of pre-wedding and wedding moments.

What one word best sums up and describes your 2010 experience?

INTENSE

Your turn, dear readers. Would love to hear about your triumphs in  2010.

PS My word for 2011 is MORE. More gratitude, more peace, more time, more guts, more support, more life in my life....

1-1-11

Don't you just love that date? Happy New Year to all of you.

I spent New Year's Eve being tested and I'm proud to say I believe I passed the test.

Last year I posted the following questions on this blog and answered them in my  journal. I've enjoyed rereading my 1-1-10 responses  and am getting ready to answer them again. They are courtesy of David Allen of Getting Things Done and are a great way to sum up the past year and rev up for 2011.

Wanna play? Don't be scared, you don't have to have the answers to all of them. All you need is pen and paper or pen and journal to get started. Quiet time helps but is not  a necessity.

Here ya go....

I am enjoying the responses to "One Word" that are beginning to trickle in. One of my friends/fans in Austrailia writes: "CLEAN. Clean body, clean mind, clean house!"

I ran across this excerpt when I was choosing a random card from Sandi Greenberg's "No Place Like Om Inspirational Card Deck ".

"Everything in your life has an effect upon you: what you eat, hear, see, think, the people with whom you socialize. A clear indication of this is to be aware of how you feel after eating certain foods, listening to certain music, watching specific television programs or being in a person's company.

One effective yardstick is to ask yourself: How is this serving me? Is this disturbing my peace and stillness or increasing my sense of well-being and happiness? See your choices in terms of nourishment vs toxicity for your body, your mind, and your spirit. Purity and cleanliness.

CLEAN. Kinda resonates, doesn't it?
