Just for Fun Print

What ever happened to doing something just for fun? Seems like life gets a hold of us and our worlds fill up with have to's, need to's, and all around busyness.

I've decided fun is a highly overlooked and underrated self care tool for thriving on life's journey. Personally it seems that reading a novel "just for fun" (in other words not about autism, life coaching, or self improvement), is likely to land on my back burner. In other words, when I finish this other stack of books.  But the stack keeps growing and life keeps flowing. I've been making an effort, albeit inconsistently, to read more fiction, more novels, more just for fun books.

With this in mind, I am proud to introduce Sunny's Story. Sunny's Story has a special place in my heart because it was written by my friend and coauthor Kathy Almeida. Her book's journey from start to finish has spanned quite a number of years. The obstacles were so numerous that most people would have given up a long, long time ago. But Kathy perservered even when it meant writing one  page at a time with her son competing for her attention. One baby step at a time, Sunny's Story came to fruition. Talk about a labor of love and the power of perserverance.

Sunny's Story is an enjoyable read full of twists and turns and laughs sprinkled with nuggets of life wisdom. The characters come to life and manage to work their way under your skin. If you know Kathy, you may even think you hear her voice coming from a couple of the characters. But the book is purely fiction and pure fun.

Sunny's Story is available on Amazon in both print and E-book. I invite you to step on over to KathySunnysstory.com where you will find Kathy's blog and more details about the book.

Congratulations to Kathy  on the birth of her second book baby. Way to make your dream come to life!
